Thankfulness

Last week I posted about some of the things that I am thankful for in my day to day life. I think that I am going to make this a weekly post. I really am trying to make an effort to look at all the good things God has provided for me rather than always going toward the negative. So here goes.....Today I am thankful for my little baby girl. She got her shots yesterday so we had sort of a rough night and I am REALLY tired today. But looking at the big picture, she is a wonderful baby and I could not have asked for a better natured child. I have heard so many other parents tell me that their babies cried all the time, or wouldn't sleep during the night, but not my little "rooter tooter". She is so good. She is happy and smiling all of the time, except when she feels that I am not getting her food fast enough! She sleeps most of the night which enables me to sleep and rest for work. She is healthy and growing and I have been able to enjoy seeing her learn and discover new things everyday. So I am thankful that I have a beautiful healthy baby girl and I have the time and energy to enjoy her to the fullest.
I hope that some of you will join me in saying what you are thankful for. It really makes the day brighter to focus on the good rather than what is going wrong. There is always something good to find, you just have to get creative sometimes!!!

I am thankful for a loving husband, 2 great kids, 1 beautiful grandson, 2 neat dogs, 1 somewhat tolerable cat, lots of good friends, and a home filled with happiness.
And also I'm thankful that I had the ambition to clean the kitchen and bathroom early this morning so now I have a little extra time to read some terrific blogs. Thanks for stopping by. Have a really happy day. :)

I am thankful for the fact that God placed me in the town that I live in, that He gave me my wonderful Husband and three wonderful children. I am also very thankful for all the friends he has brought into my life. :)

Just wanted to say thanks for stopping by my blog - something to be thankful for! I'm also thankful I have a loving husband and two wonderful children who are both in college. And I'm thankful for my spoiled rotten dog who keeps me company now that I am an empty nester!

I'm thankful that the Lord loves me unconditionally, for a wonderful husband and my girls, awesome extended family. Specifically today that in the middle of spiritual chaos I can still have His peace!
Have a wonderful day!
